The Blue Raspberry Evening Bag doesn’t have to be blue, of course. Use any color of super-soft or decorative yarn, or alternate colors for an even more unique look. The crochet draw string can easily be swapped for ribbon, chain, or fancy pre-made cording. Make one to match every dress you own, or make them in your wedding colors for your brides maids to use!

This bag measures about 18 inches around, 6 inches tall.
The stitches used are chain, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, treble crochet, and slip stitch (in American terminology). This bag is made in the round in two parts. There are no complicated stitches in this pattern, but you will need to have some advanced pattern-reading knowledge in order to understand the construction of this bag (there are symbol charts as well as written instructions). I consider this an intermediate/advanced level pattern.
