This tea set dates from 1930 to 1941.
The outside of the cups is in duck egg blue / aqua whilst the inside and handles are in white. Inside each cup is a surprisingly modern posy of flowers in pinks and blue. There is lovely gold coloured gilt on the rims of every item and on the handles of the cups. The plates and saucers have an outer rim of duck egg blue / aqua and the centre of each of these is white. Please bear in mind that colours vary from monitor to monitor so the colour you see may differ from the actual colour.
The tea set is in excellent condition with very little sign that it has been used. The gilt is in incredibly good condition and is very bright and clear. It’s almost impossible to believe that this tea set is 70 – 80 years old.
