{about recycled sterling silver}
All of our pieces are custom cast in recycled sterling silver just for us here in Los Angeles California! Recycled silver is refined from bench scraps and various other sources rather than from silver mines. It has the same look and feel as "fresh" sterling but does away with all the complexity and dangers of mining fresh silver.
{creation}
Each of our pieces begins as a model which is handmade by owner/designer, Emily Brewster, in either sterling silver or recycled fine silver. The models are then made into molds to be cast at a small casting place right here in Los Angeles, California. The cast pieces are then tumbled, oxidized, enameled or have stones set in them to finish them off before shipping out to their new owner! We attempt to use eco-friendly made in the USA materials whenever possible (which is 99% of the time!).
