As a Felt Patterns Designer, I've tried so many different types of felt. I find 100% wool felt too thick & acrylic/synthetic felt too many "needle holes" but these are only 1mm thick yet the fibers are more closely felted and it's EASIER to TRACE, CUT & SEW, its fibers DOESN'T 'FRAY' as much, & it DOESN'T STRETCH easily so my items DON'T go out of shape like before. They are also WASHABLE and very DURABLE even for repeated sewing.
