This is a fantastic Harvey Berin creation! Cute collar, double breasted military style, deep angled pockets, belt loops. Metal zipper. Harvey Berin Original label, as well as a Saks Fifth Avenue label. No fabric content label, but it seems like a lovely linen or linen blend - I would say some silk. It does not wrinkle very much at all. Fully lined. Excellent condition, with the exception of a tiny 1/4" discoloration on the fabric. I have pictured it. It is hardly noticeable. It is on the back of the skirt on the right side near the bottom. See below for information about Harvey Berin from the Vintage Fashion Guild web-site.....

"Harvey Berin opened his business in 1921, and by the 1940s his was an important name in lady’s clothing. His designer was Karen Stark, who was the sister of Berin’s wife, Augusta. Stark adapted the latest styles from Paris each season. And even though Stark did the designing, Berin approved or rejected each design. They were best known for their feminine dresses and ensembles. Berin was a favorite of several First Ladies, including Pat Nixon and Ladybird Johnson. Harvey Berin closed in 1970"
