This set of 15 projects and patterns are all variations on common spring-inspired themes--for instance, the funny bunny plushie's hat becomes a recycled cashmere bunny hat for a child or baby--but the projects are also variations on a common technique or medium used to make the projects--like the technique of creating scented bean bags in either the shape of jelly beans which are fruit scented or in the shape of a retro daisy which are scented like flowers. What I love about this approach is that it allows you to get familiar with a particular design or a technique, and then to apply it again, only in a new way.

Most of these projects are simple to make and can be made in 30-90 minutes for some quick crafting satisfaction or when you want to whip up a little something handmade for a gift without a lot of planning. While many of the projects were designed for you to make, a few of the projects were also designed specifically with children's participation in mind, such as a couple of paper craft projects or some simple sewing projects--all of this is indicated at the beginning of each project.
