These are two antique floral design buttons with the unusual arrangement of tin over brass, rather than the reverse. About 18mm in size, they show age and wear. The “brass” has an unusual texture almost like cloth and appears to be a coating rather than brass sheet. The backs show the original black enamel finish, though one has much less of it than the other.

Haven’t been able to find any definitive information on the age, so they may predate 1800. If any of you button experts can narrow down the date, it would be very appreciated.
