It is painted, then sanded for an aged, rustic finish. A top coat is applied to protect it for years to come. ( the back is also painted and top coated) It has a sawtooth hanger attached for easy hanging or is very beautiful propped up on a ledge or shelf.
*****Since each piece is hand painted and distressed, the finished product will vary slightly from piece to piece - Which makes every piece unique and wonderful.
