This is an extremely hard to find item and I was lucky to come across it!! The globe is written entirely in German and done in the style of a terrestrial globe. It dates to the 1940s and is in incredible condition for its age. The colors are really bright and vivid. This comes with its original razor and still opens easily for emptying the shavings!! The surface has retained it shine and luster!! Most of the wear is at the equator where this comes apart.
The pencil inserts into the gold toned bottom and turns for sharpening!! It is marked Germany on the underside.
I do not believe that the pictures even come close to capturing the beauty and the great condition of this little globe!!
Truly a great find and one you don't want to pass up at this price!!
