As with all of my designs, the lace motifs were created entirely by hand, using my signature lacemaking techniques and original patterns.
Ornately beaded textile motifs decorate the posts of the earrings. Pure silver foil threads, like those used in traditional kimono embroidery, have been fashioned into stylized rose lace motifs, beaded with sparkling rose quartz rondelles, and applied over a scalloped base of salmon pink silk threads. The details are highlighted with dozens of tiny glass beads. Vintage rhinestones in gold tone settings shine from the center, accentuated with a rosette of gold real metal threads. The earrings fasten with posts that are backed with woven circles of silver foil threads.
Salmon pink bamboo coral, mauve freshwater pearls and blush pink rose quartz twine their way up the silver chains of the tassels. The stones are threaded on 24k vermeil head pins and carefully aligned to create a horizontally graduated effect from light to dark. The tassels are punctuated with tiny, double-sided lace flowers and flawless marquise shaped rose quartz briolettes on the ends. Surprisingly lightweight for earrings of this scale...
