original drawing screen printed with hand mixed textile ink - the solvent free ink colour is on the darker end of indigo blue (not black)
bottom portion of the bag made with a medium weight black waxed canvas, with handles made from a strong bridle leather in a beautiful warm brown colour
fabric info:
top outer fabric is a mid-heavy weight 100% hemp canvas
bottom portion is heavy weight waxed canvas
this waxed canvas is weather resistant and has a nice smooth surface and wears similar to leather, the fabric is American made by the same family since the 1800's, the treated surface will not rub on your clothes or will the surface melt, because of the treated surface the bag should not be machine washed, but can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
