The lotus flower is one of the most ancient and deepest symbols of our planet and has strong symbolic ties to many Asian religions especially throughout India. The lotus flower starts as a small flower down at the bottom of a pond in the mud and muck. It slowly grows up towards the water’s surface continually moving towards the light. Once it come to the surface of the water the lotus flower begins to blossom and turn into a beautiful flower. Within Hinduism and Buddhism the lotus flower has become a symbol for awakening to the spiritual reality of life. Untouched by the impurity, lotus symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. The lotus flower represents long life, health, honor and good luck.
Since these earrings are made to reorder results of the annealing and forging are not always the same, colors may change slightly, but the final result is always beautiful and unique. I will respect the method and measures you see on the photo and I will make it with the same care and dedication. For this reason, any difference with the photo is a happy touch of the handmade job. The recreations will be done within a week ;)
