PLEASE NOTE: This is not a finished cozy, it is a pattern so you can knit the coffee cozy yourself with your choice of yarn.
This cozy is perfect for keeping your delicate hands off of that steaming hot cup of coffee! It fits standard sized take out cups and reusable equivalents. The 2x2 rib pattern and the lace pattern give it a nice, snug fit. The use of simple knitting stitches makes this pattern great for most levels of knitters. You will be knitting, purling, and using "yarn over" and "slip slip knit" techniques.
For this project, you will need a set of four US8/5mm double pointed needles (DPN’s), a stitch marker, a tape measure or ruler, and a tapestry needle.
The yarn is a 10 ply Aran, like the Red Heart, TLC, and Vanna's Choice yarns that are available at most craft stores. This cozy takes around 50 grams of yarn, so it can even be made from the leftovers of a larger skein!
