My grandma and grandpa travelled to the Orient on a long trip during the 1960’s. As a kid, I saw slide after slide of pictures. As my grandma was a lover of fabrics too, she brought home some of the most amazing silks and brocades. I have held on to them all these years, and figured it was time to share some with my Etsy friends! This fabric (which measured just 29 inches from selvage to selvage) is a dark shiny nickel silver colored silk brocade. The embroidered all over pattern has small lotus flowers and pagodas in light silver and dark graphite threads. Each pillow cover measures about 13” x 20”, and has an invisible zipper closure. This stunning silk is on both front and back of each pillow.
