The lid lifts off to reveal an open and room interior compartment. Dual swing-away handles fold down. The picnic basket measures approximately 13 1/2"l by 9 1/2"d by 6 1/4"h.
The picnic basket has a great deal of surface wear, including rust, scratches, and small dings. That being said, it is structurally sound with no major misshapen areas, and the lid fits on properly (though it is not overly snug).
