Symbolic of yesterdays herb garden.
This bee skep is approximately 16 1/2” tall
and about 13 ½” in diameter at the base
of the skep. It is made out of vine, so care
should be taken in the elements.
(It will last longer if taken inside in the winter).
In colonial times it was not uncommon for
herb gardens to be graced with a bee skep
here and there, with the hope that bees would
make their home and provide the family with
honey to be used with their medicinal herbs.
