Stone is 10x8mm (about 3/8 x 5/16 inches).
The stone is very bright and flashy in person. This step-cut throws light around in long strips that are difficult to capture in photograph.
The intricate sterling silver setting was cast from an antique ring and displays delicate filigree patterns. Along the sides are hearts, crosses, and geometric flourishes. The fancy Baroque frame around the stone curves in and out gracefully.
Ring measures 12mm at the front setting and 2mm at the back band.
