Please meet Rhapsody, a one of a kind artist mohair teddy bear designed and made by Vicki Peres of Custom Teddys.
Rhapsody is made from 5/8" medium density tea dyed mohair. I have lightly airbrushed around her eyes, ears, muzzle and wool felt paw pads to further define her features. She wears a hand crochet collar, also airbrushed and smudged for an antique effect.
Rhapsody is 16 inches (40.64 cm) tall and weighs 1 lb., 11 oz. (.765 kg.) Her eyes are dark amber glass and her nose is handmade from polymer clay.
She is stuffed with a little bit of excelsior, an abundance of poly pellets and the remainder with polyester fiberfill. I used metal washers, lock nuts and machine screws to fasten her head arms and legs to her body.
This bear is somewhat heavy and fun to hold. She would make an incredible gift for someone special, including yourself.
