Peonies are a symbol of romance, compassion, good fortune, and a happy marriage. They are also considered the flower of the 12th wedding anniversary.
Vintage book pages are cut into petals and wrapped around a 10" wire stem using floral tape. A paper leaf is also included on each stem. Each peony is then lightly misted with a clear matte sealer. This listing is for ONE (1) paper peony like the one pictured in the photo but may vary slightly. The size is roughly that of a fully bloomed peony. Approximate measurements are: 14" tall and 7" across (diameter).

* Due to the vintage nature of the paper used, expect some yellowing, possible markings or writing, and a general "old book" quality. This will not compromise the structure of the peony, and adds to its uniqueness and charm. These are NOT acid free.
