In my charity efforts donating toys to children's hospitals, I've seen the need for custom toys that reflect a physical disability. I've looked around on the Internet and do not see this service listed anywhere else, so I am offering it here on Etsy. All profits from my store go to charity.
If your child has a special need that you would like reflected in a toy, please contact me for a custom order. I handle all such requests with the uptmost discretion and privacy. I can also make "weighted" and textured toys for children with sensory processing disorders. I'm experienced in cloth contouring, so please don't hesitate to ask about a difficult request. If I can't make a toy that works for your child, I will try to find someone who can!

PRICE:
The price of your toy will reflect the amount of sewing time involved and any significant extra materials cost (which we can discuss via etsy message before the listing is posted). No specific details will be included in your custom listing. Due to the intricate and time-consuming nature of the hand-sewing involved, toys with cochlear implants may cost $45 or more.
SAMPLE: The monkeys shown on the right are wearing bilateral cochlear implants. This particular version is NOT baby-safe, but I can make a baby-safe version. Non baby-safe cochlear implant toys have detachable parts that adhere to the toy with velcro or a snap; baby-safe versions have CI implants that are sewn onto the toy's head.

HANDMADE, HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS:
Each plush pal is heirloom quality and handmade from start to finish. The bodies are machine-sewn and the faces are generally hand-sewn. I use high quality Blizzard Fleece and No Pill fleece. If you want a "memory toy," you can send special clothing items for use in the pattern.
