From Italian for "from the sign," D.S. appears in sheet music and instructs a musician to repeat a passage starting from the sign shown at right, sometimes called the "segno" in English.
We stamped it into the 3/4" (1.905 cm) diameter sterling silver 30 gauge disc with a hydraulic press and tumbled it up for a nice polish. This is a thin, light weight pendant.
The handmade bail is sterling silver too.
The entire piece measures about 1 3/16th (3.1cm) from the top of the bail to the bottom of the pendant.
The pendant comes on a simple 32" black satin cord that can be tied to any length.
