Neroli essential oil comes from the distilling the blossoms of the bitter orange tree. It is one of the most widely used in fragrances in the perfume industry, and this bar is top-heavy with it (in fragrance oil form! Neroli is even purported to be the secret ingredient in Coco Cola! This blend of lemon/orange marriage takes such a twist it's amazing. If you are looking for something different--this one is tailor-made for you!
This soap variety is also very special because it is made with lanolin, which has been used for years as an excellent emollient! Lanolin is a by-product of wool washing - the wool is washed and the raw wool grease is refined into lanolin. Emollient and occlusive, lanolin also gives soap a luxuriously silky texture and helps make it very hard and long-lasting!
It is best to patch test a new soap on a small area of skin if you are concerned about any allergy. If you observe symptoms of a lanolin allergy, consult your doctor about taking a test to confirm the allergy.
The soap base is made fresh from scratch with all vegetable oils like olive & coconut. Handcrafting soap using the cold process method allows it to retain its natural, moisturizing glycerin. Rosemary Oil Extract (ROE) is used in this soap as a powerful, natural antioxidant. Please keep in mind that products made without synthetic preservatives have a shorter shelf life. It’s always a good idea to keep products from our shop in a cool, dry place, away from sunlight. Our cold process soaps are best used within the first 12-18 months of purchase.
Extend your soap's life by using a soap dish that allows air to fully circulate around every surface of the bar for complete drying.
