The buttons are thread on a waxed cotton cord.
The clasp is also special and made of brass and perfectly matches the necklace colors.
Each button measures just over 1/2" diameter. This piece measures 19" in length.
These buttons are now a beautiful and functional piece of jewelry, sewn back-to-back, so each side is just as beautiful.
