It's here! Make a cute little Mixie Pixie Cap of your own! These hats are worked from the bottom up and have a nice stretchy bottom to fit a variety of head sizes. **Also includes pattern for attached Curly-Q flower**
This pattern happened purely on instinct. I love it when that happens. Take an idea and a hook and sit down and it works out the first time. Yep, most patterns have to be tweaked a bit to get them just right (at least for me) but some just make me want to sing because they play nice and give me just what my brain wanted. Make this one in stripes or all in one color, make it with a tail or just leave the tail off and you’ll have a nice little pointy top.
This pattern is written for sizes 0-3 months, 3-6 months and 6-12 months
Yarn: Worsted (medium) weight yarn, approx. 90 (100, 110) yards
Hook: Size G/6 (4.25 mm) or size to obtain correct gauge and N/13 (9.00 mm) for the tail.
Notions: Scissors, darning needle for weaving in ends.
Gauge: – 16 sts and 7 ¼ rows in dc = 4” square
Skill Level: Intermediate
