Details: This vintage silk blouse has been dip dyed by me in black fabric dye. The black bleeds up into the blouse and creates a beautiful blue and purple stripe where the black meets the ivory. This blouse is one of a kind! You can see how I styled a similar blouse on my blog
SIlk blouses need to be dry cleaned, especially after the dip dye! When washed in a washing machine silk bleeds whatever color it has on it.
Condition: Excellent. There are dye splatters and smudges, this is the nature of hand dying. The blouses are not meant to be pristine but to deconstruct the formal nature of a silk blouse and give it some edge.
