My necklace is made of matte black and matte dark gray beads, even some black Czech Firepolish with a matte finish that all felt like coal in my fingers. My embers and flames are provided by Swarvoski crystal gems and bicones. The neck opening is over 14" and the drop from the top of the center component to the bottom of the fringe is 4". I would be glad to adjust the neck size of this piece for you at no additional charge.
