How far in advance should I order my dress?
I recommend ordering your dress 6 months or more before wedding date. Do not wait until the last minute for such an important purchase. Give yourself time for shipping, alterations, accessorizing, etc. A little bit of time and planning can go a long way
I would like to customize my dress further, what is available? How can I add desired elements?
Basic customizations like the addition of straps, requesting shorter or longer lengths, adding trains, embellishments, and different fabrications are available. Cost varies at based on the complexity of the request. Please let me know what you’re thinking! I love making custom dresses or simply changing something on an existing design
How do I know which size to order?
Please have a Professional Tailor take your measurements, do not guess or try to measure yourself. Currently all Lovey By Isha dresses are now made in standard US sizes 0-12. I recommend choosing the size closest to your measurements but I advise ordering the larger size if you fall between sizes. Review the size chart carefully when selecting your size. Click on the size chart to enlarge it, or print it out for easy reference. ♥ If you are still unsure please contact me and I would be happy to assist you- You are welcomed to have measurements done by me if you are in the Southern California area.
I’m not sure about which Fabric or Color I want, what do I do?
I am happy to provide all customers with 5 Free swatches of any available colors or fabrications, just let me know what you would like to see along with your mailing address. This is done via US mail because screen monitors don’t give an entirely accurate representation of color/texture. ♥ If you don’t see what you were looking for I may be able to source it for you.
What happens if I need my dress altered?
Since dresses are made to standard sizes and not your personal body measurements some alterations are to be expected. Alterations are 100% your responsibility after you receive your dress. I recommend making sure you have someone in your area that can assist with this once you get your lovely dress unless you’re in the Southern California area. ♥ If you are in Southern California, you are welcomed to come see me in person.
What happens if I ordered the wrong size?
I urge you to go to a professional Tailor and to review the measurements they provide you with before you choose a size from the Lovey Size chart. I am not responsible if you were working with incorrect measurements and thus choose an incorrect size. If you realize there is any mistake in what you've ordered and I have not yet shipped your item please let me know ASAP. I may or may not be able to fix your error if you let me know right away.
Can I cancel my order, I changed my mind? No cancellations are permitted, all sales are final. Make sure the purchase you are making is exactly what you want and ask questions if you are unsure about anything.
How will my Dress be packaged and sent to me?
Your dress will be shipped in a garment bag and packed securely inside a box. Please note that upon removing your dress from the garment bag it may be a bit wrinkled but this is nothing steam can’t remedy. All dresses are shipped US postal service Priority Mail with Tracking #’s and Insurance to ensure the item arrives safely. I take great care to package your item for its journey.
