Something for the boys! This sweet little skater inspired jacket will be sure to please your little guys sense of style. A great way to s t r e t c h those wardrobes a little bit further by utilizing the outgrown, stained or holey cargo pants and hoodies you may have lying around or that you can pick up easily at your local thrift store. The KREW coat sports an upcycled hood and pockets, making it easier to sew and giving it a modern edge. Handmade without looking Homemade. :)
All LilyGiggle patterns are computer drafted and are color coded to make them easy to put together and to keep sizes accurate. Each PDF also includes a very detailed tutorial with lots of color photographs and diagrams demonstrating each step of creating the design. The tutorials are written with terminology explained so you'll know what it means to say things such as "right sides together". :) My hope is to create PDFs that will take away the frustration of using a traditional big box store pattern and put the fun back into sewing. If you do get hung up on a step using one of my PDFs I am only a CONVO away and ready to help you through it!
Although, it is explained in depth I would not recommend this as a pattern for the very beginner. It would be for the intermediate sewist. It is a lot easier than it looks, though!

1 -1/2 yards of outer coat fabric
1 -1/2 yards of lining fabric (we like flannel)
Old hoodie and cargo pants….upcycle time!
Fusible interfacing
Matching thread
Separating Zipper (20 inch for size 10, 18 inch for size 8 & 6 and 16 inch for size 4)
One heavy duty snap/snap set tool (or button/Velcro closure)
