Those of you who follow Vagabond Jewelry closely know that I love my bike. When I rebuilt his wheel recently, I saved all the spokes- they are a very high grade stainless steel, and it seemed a waste to throw them out. So here they are, as rings, with random dollops of silver. They are very tough- downright unbreakable- and ideal for folks who are tough on their jewelry. They will last forever. All will be distinct and different, but will always look more or less like so, and I can make them in any size. Pictured is a size seven- a larger size may wrap around fewer times, a smaller size may wrap around more. A full spoke wraps around most finger sizes three to four times. I tuck the nibble in, and solder it down well, so there's no worries about it catching on anything.
Want to commemorate a long serving bicycle, a much loved wheel, or a particular tour? I can most certainly use one of your spokes. It's best if you can send me two (just in case!) but if you only have one, that's fine, I'll be careful.
