This late 1960s shift dress is labeled Adele Martin. It is made of what I believe is all cotton in a wide horizontal ottoman rib. The dress is lightly lined. The fabric is used on the bias for the neck band and for trimming the little sleeve caps. The dress has princess seams in front and back. There are lovely big decorative mother-of-pearl buttons on the front, and little pockets hidden in the front seams. Long back covered nylon zipper.
Condition: Just dry cleaned and in very, very good condition. I see just the faintest remaining stains under the arms, shown in the final photo. This is truly negligible.
