Last year we purchased several trailer loads of clothing that belonged to a woman who purchased her wardrobe by the armful, at sample sales and end of season sales, from the 1940s through the 1970s. It's not high-end couture, but rather, a vast collection of the everyday fashions worn by women during these decades--beautiful dresses, blouses, suits, skirts, and hats. She never threw out a thing. This garment is from her enormous wardrobe, and I will continue to offer the best picks from this incredible find in the shop.
