A field of willows set on a mulberry background. Each petal is hand-sculpted and unique.
These are large leaf/petals, almost 1" long on 20 gauge copper wire. The petal measures 7/8" long and 1/2-5/8" wide. The total length of the headpin is 4 1/2" long.

The polymer clay headpins started out from an original carving and are hand painted for a watercolor effect. The paint is sealed with a protective finish.
The copper wire can be antiqued with liver of sulfur.
