The quilters is embroidered in charcoal, sky blue and mustard on beautiful antique homespun linen that is between 80-120 years old. One woman is holding a needle and thread and the other is holding a quilt. The quilt is made from the image of a vintage quilt from my collection that was printed onto cotton fabric. The porcelain doll arms are from Germany and were dug from the earth from the grounds of an old doll factory that operated between 1890-1920. The piece is framed in a vintage metal embroidery hoop that is 6 1/4 inches wide and 3 3/4 inches tall. The piece is backed with wool felt and is signed and dated on the back. It hangs with a simple ribbon.
