These are very feminine, freshwater, potato pearls. They are so named for their spud-like shape. I teamed them with sterling silver flower beads, strung on extra-strong tigertail (nylon-coated steel stringing wire.) I used horse-shoe wire guards to keep the ends from fraying. After crimping and covering the ends, I added a sterling silver spacer bead, then crimped and covered again for good measure. That’s the equivalent of knotting the ends not just once, but in two places, but a lot more elegantly! I wanted this bracelet to be extra strong yet really pretty.
The lobster clasp latches onto a sterling silver extender chain so you can adjust it to fit. I wire wrapped a plain, sleek, sterling silver cross into a charm to dangle on the end of the short chain.
If you would prefer me to remove the cross I can replace it with a pearl or a clear stone if you would like to discuss what is available at the time.
Your little princess will treasure this bracelet for years to come.
