I've covered a 12-inch straw wreath base with soft, variegated blue and ivory yarn, which reminds me of an old fisherman's sweater. A bit of rope has been fashioned into a bow at the top, and a lovely vintage, composition plaque featuring a ship's wheel, sailboat, lighthouse and a seagull is positioned at the lower right. Connecting it all together are some handmade ivory felt and natural burlap rosettes.
