Rutilated quartz are formed when needle-like crystal inclusions of rutile (a major ore of titanium) are formed in quartz and looks like small bars of imbedded gold. It is believed to bring forth each person's strengths, originality, aids sleep and helps you related to others!
On a french wire hook, measure approximately 2.5 inches total length.
Please note that due to the nature of the stones, the golden rutilations in each quartz will vary, although I try to match them as closely as possible.
What is Gold-Filled?
Gold-filled is an economical alternative to solid gold. By law, it has 1/20th by weight layer of 14 karat gold permanently bonded over a core of base metal. It is tarnish-resistant, safe for sensitive skin and unlike gold plating, it will not wear off. If you treat it right, should last a life-time and is a great way to enjoy affordable gold jewelry.
