The photos do NOT do it justice. This case is fun, eco-friendly, and screams geek...modern geek.
Details: This case is handmade and recycled from thin, lightweight wood. Handle is made with super rubber and shiny red keyrings (some of the red paint on the ring has worn off) to accentuate the NES red features, using recycled reusable bags that were sewn together for support. The attache case was painted with outdoor paint and acrylics, so rain will not tamper with paint, however do not submerge case in water. Controller design, made with old paints was covered in contact liner for surface protection. The interior faux rabbit feels SO GOOD and is held together by both flat tacks and screws to avoid damaging contents. Please do not tug at rabbit fur--underneath is the same paint as the exterior with duct padding over bolts for a smooth finish. Do not treat suitcase like stompe-proof material, because recycled wooden frame is not very thick. Remember this is handmade, hand painted, hand decorated, hand assembled, etc--the alignment may not be perfect, brackets, latches and the paint may have imperfections due to hardness of wood and man-made error--but that's what makes this one-of-a-kind. Laptop doesn't accompany purchase, though I've included the image to prove a 17" laptop (shown) is NOT recommended for this case. Laptops 15" or smaller will be fine. Also, this case is great for traveling, but do not check it as the frame is made of 1/2 inch wood and would be best as carry on (you never know what luggage they can throw on). Suitcase is light gray, with gray faux fur inside. Exterior roughly 15.5" long, 12" tall (without handle), 3.25" wide. I added thin padding (electrical tape) to the latches to give a more secure and comfortable close. See last photo (they feel like rubber, but it's stretchable tape). PLEASE READ: the front of the case is a 3-5 millimeters off center of the reverse. This is evident in all photos. So when flat, the top will look skewed a few millimeters from the bottom, and when upright the front looks slightly off center to the right. Please understand this is one-of-a-kind, will never be replicated, and is completely handmade, with flaws I consider art. This is not a machine-made perfect, item.
