The coat is made from medium-weight knits, thick and warm enough to be worn as a coat through Autumn, Spring or Winter.
The bodice is made from lambswool, with a black cotton waistband. The skirt is made from lambswool, merino, pure new wool, mohair, and a small amount of soft acrylic for colour & texture, all in a sumptuous palette of purples, violets, lavender, pinks & reds.
The coat features flared sleeves, a gypsy/elf hood and an extra full circular skirt. The hem of the skirt is trimmed with black velvet. There are ornate beaded buttons, gold sequins & braid down the front and on the sleeves which were taken from a vintage cardigan, and the coat closes with fasteners hidden underneath the buttons. The coat also features a patchwork pocket and a tie belt which can be tied to the front or back to cinch in the waist.
Size UK 14 US 12
chest 38 inches (will stretch to 44 inches)
waist 36 inches (will stretch a bit more)
length 55 inches
The circular skirt has a whopping 25 foot hem!
The sleeves are also extra long with taller goddesses in mind, but can be shortened upon request. For reference, model is UK size 12 (US 10), 5' 4" tall, and this coat just about reaches the ground on me.

All sweaters are washed & dried before I begin each garment to prevent further shrinkage, though further shrinkage can always occur with wool, so handwashing is recommended, as is drying flat, to ensure your garment lasts for many years to come. All seams are straight-stitched, overlocked/serged, and then top stitched again where necessary - made with the utmost attention to detail, made with love & made to last! With correct care this garment will see you through years of adventuring! :)
Slight irregularities & the odd wonky seam are the nature of these garments, they are after all recycled and therefore have a bit more character & personality than shop bought clothing. All of my garments evolve the moment I start to create, I never use a pattern, each one is totally unique. I am however an expert seamstress with over 25 years experience designing and making. Should any threads come loose then please just pull them through to the reverse side, please DO NOT PULL. All ends have been tightly finished off so nothing will unravel or fray.
Many thanks to the lovely Katwise for being such an inspiration.
