Mottled chartreuse is the background to the embroidery design. I have embroidered an abstract design in bright colors of orange, blue, and hot pink! I cut out pieces and embroidered around the edges and then added french knots and a meandering vine. I added the touch of fun beads to dangle down on your hand to put a smile on your face and those who catch a glimpse of the fun accessory.
Chartreuse: Is a color halfway between yellow and green that was named because of its resemblance to the green color of one of the French liqueurs called green chartreuse, introduced in 1764
