My daughter had the idea that pop tabs could make interesting jewelry, and she was definitely right. I sell my handmade jewelry at a local farmer's market (inside A Greener in You in a Dayton's PNC Second Street Market, if you're in the area), and these have been selling so quickly since I started selling them last month, that I hadn't had a chance to photograph them until now.

Like a lot of families with small children we have that little Ronald McDonald Houes box in our kitchen to save these tabs, so I want you to know that I donate 4X the value of the aluminum to the Ronald McDonald House online (about $4 per 1000 tabs--you need about 2000 tabs to make a pound and aluminum is currently worth about $1.25 per pound). I literally weigh the tabs, and send in a payment.
