It contains enough material to make several mushrooms of various sizes and comes in a cardboard gift box.
This kit contains all you need to learn the craft of needle-felting and make your own troop of toadstool mushrooms. It includes clear, step-by-step instructions with photographs and diagrams.
To make the needle-felted mushrooms, sheep’s fleece is rolled up and the needles are used to sculpt it into shapes which are joined together using the needles to make a seamless toadstool mushroom.
This kit is suitable for a beginner.
Felting needles have very sharp points and are not recommended for young children.
I am a felt-maker and sculptor with 16 years experience felting, and 11 years experience teaching a range of crafts. I make all the kits in my studio at home using high-quality materials, natural and locally sourced where possible and assembled in a smoke-free environment.
