The old French country home kept not only the family safe and dry, but also their horse and carriage. This tiny carriage house reminds us of the old châteaux still standing in France today.
These little clay representations mimic the sharply pointed rooftops and stoney facades with purely organic, unpainted clay. Quite formal in style, this house will still enchant you with its rustic French country charm. I hope these pieces bring your memories and fantasies of the French countryside to life.
Each house is hand-built in my atelier in Europe. The only material I use is a mineral and natural cellulose fiber clay that hardens strongly and naturally. All textures and rustic effects are achieved only with this clay from the coast of Spain.
