I hand blocked black parasisal straw on a vintage style vintage hat block to make the shape. The hat crown has a great stylized shape with two lines of design encircling the top. The brim is large and asymmetrical, with a fabulous dip over one eye. There is a wire in the brim edge for support. It is a very pretty hat and very alluring.
The hat band is black organdy and where it crosses over itself are four handcut flowers I made from beautiful iridescent taffeta that shines dark purple and black. There are matte black beads in the center of each flower. Look under the brim in the pictures and see two flowers peek out from under the brim; a subtle yet flirty accent.
Inside the hat is a grosgrain ribbon in 22.5 which fits average size heads. It is a sexy hat.
