I grew up watching Disney's The Little Mermaid on a daily, if not semi-hourly basis. I can technically recite the entire movie from start to finish. So when I finally got my clamshell stamp, I had to pick just one place to start, and of course, it's this classic line from Ariel's song, Part of Your World.
I could go on to nerd out about the musical dream team that was Howard Ashman and Alan Menken, but I'm sure I've already lost you...
"I wanna be where the people are" stamped in my love letter font and followed by a lovely little clamshell.
My pieces are all stamped to order, freehand, one letter at a time. As such, the text won't be perfectly straight or centered, but it's supposed to look that way, and is part of the charm of buying handmade, versus machine made.
The metal is 6" long by 1/4" wide, and is slightly flexible, which makes it fully adjustable to fit most any size wrist.
Also available in brass and aluminum at the same price, or sterling silver for $55.

Our process is very different from traditional engraving, which carves a light groove into the metal. Stamping is a more forceful technique, where each individual letter, number and symbol is stamped by hand, one at a time with a hammer and steel stamp. Because our products are not machine-made, reasonable variations are to be expected and contribute to the uniqueness and hand finished quality of each piece.
