**Please note: Listing is for actual item shown, as is. All horses are one of a kind and this specific horse will never be created again. If you would like a custom order or variation of this horse, please convo me!**
Allegro was made from start to finish by Maine artist Emmaline Sullivan, from local materials. The head was cut from a solid piece of clear Eastern White Pine, selectively harvested using sustainable forestry methods. His face was carefully hand painted, then finished with a water-based sealant to protect from whatever adventures are to come. Allegro measures about 36" from forehead (not including plume) to the end of his Poplar dowel body.
These stick horses are especially rugged, and made for outdoor play. The heads are made from high quality wood and measure an 1 3/4" thick - extra sturdy and ready for outside play. This horse's ears are made from genuine high quality leather, from a company in Maine, that are nailed firmly to the wood for extra security. The dowels are a sturdy 1" thick, safe for rough riding and real imaginative play!
All hobby horses are signed (woodburned) by the artist, and come with a signed hang tag and brief description of the horse's personality. Custom orders available!
* Please note that no two horses are exactly alike, due to their handmade nature. Your horse may differ slightly from the one pictured above, but will be equally as charming!
* Recommended for children three and up, because of reins and other various accessories.
* Parental supervision is advised!
