Postmark NewYork, Flat Iron Building 11"x14"

The image transfer technique I developed really works in this picture of the Flat Iron Building in New York City. A vintage postcard where Broadway meets Fifth Avenue, letters, stamps and postal marks are combined in this collage to create my signature Destination's look.

The print is an open edition off-set lithograph printed on heavy weight paper in the USA. It is sold UNFRAMED. The scanned original was created on paper covered with a textured plaster ground. The vintage image is transferred using acrylic medium along with old postage stamps, handwriting and brown paper onto the prepared surface and hand painted with acrylic paint.
