French Milled Soaps are fabulous find for those who cherish the quality of the ingredients their products contain and value their useful holistic properties. I believe hand milling creates the highest quality, most healthful & beneficial hand-crafted soap you can find.
In essence, it involves a double process that ensures the highest bioavailability of it's active & therapeutic ingredients. When creating a batch, I first make a basic unscented soap using the cold process method. After the soap has molded and been cured, I grate it finely and melt it at a very low temperature, adding rich butters, botanical extracts, clays, milks, flowers, herbs, spices, essential oils... any and all added ingredients, in the last minutes, before pouring for a second mold.
The rebatched soap is never heated above 90 degrees, ensuring the living vital force of it's organic, natural ingredients remains intact.
Unlike commercial soap and standard handmade cold or hot process soap, Hand Milled soap retains all of the benefits of it's raw ingredients, in their naturally occurring, unfettered state.

Each bar is hand cut, so there will be slight variations, making them each unique and one of a kind. Lovingly wrapped in Artisan Handmade Wildflower Seed Paper, ready for planting.
