Black Cat Rainbow or Sunset Large Clay Pendant with Wire Wrap & Stone Bead

It is handmade of slab rolled earthenware clay, cut to shape and the original cat design is hand painted using a mixture of underglaze pigments. After it is fired in a kiln to approximately 2000 degrees, and has cooled for 24 hours, it is dipped in a clear glaze to cover the entire piece. Then it is fired a second time.
Rather than using a plain jump ring or commercial bale, I prefer to work with a silver color wire and create a simple wire wrap design to make the loop you will use to attach it to a necklace, cord or hoop. I also add a colored stone bead to the wire.
This is an original design and entirely hand crafted by the artist.

The clay disk is 1-5/8” in diameter, 3/16” thick, but the piece is approximately 2-¼” tall with the wire and bead.
