Tatting is a knotted lace technique that is firm and strong.
I wanted to create a flower that was radiant and deeply colored in the center. The base cordonnet is black and light gold. It is the beading that gives this flower its radiance.
~This shuttle tatted design has glass seed beads that are gold with silver-lining to create the outer petals.
~The inner ring has dark gold glass tatted into the edge.
~matching glass beads are hand sewn into the center rings in alternating colors.
~a large Czech glass bead in jet black makes the perfect center pop.
