It has been slumped and sandblasted and fire polished with a really nice mat finish instead of the shinny glass finish.
Remember that it is much nicer looking in person than through a picture on the net. You will not be disappointed.
It was designed by me in my South Carolina studio. I am a glass artist and have knowledge of the correct compatibilities of glass. I have worked with glass for 29 years now. All of my pieces have been made using the correct glass and fired in my kiln up to 1480 degrees and then cooled using an annealing program for cooling down and takes up to 24 hrs...annealed for added durability.
